Wanna Make A Mini Quilt??

Oh I love when I get to tell you about something that's been in the works for a long time. Keeping secrets from you is hard, ya know.

Last summer, the good folks at American Patchwork & Quilting magazine chose me to be one of the contributors in their newest special edition quilt magazine featuring nothing but mini quilts!   I've hardly been able to wait to get my copy and see all the quilt projects in this jam packed issue. The wait is over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you know me at all....you know how much I adore little quilts and small blocks!!
No surprise...I jumped at the chance!

Here's my teeny little table runner, called Little Bits.

It was such fun to piece from scraps.

There are 29 projects in the Make It Mini book, so you're sure to find a bunch that appeal to you.  The newsstand date is March 1st, so be sure to pick one up at your local quilt shop or favorite newsstand.

I am honored that my quilt was among those chosen for the cover.   It's always a thrill.

Spread the word!

Oh, I recognize your little runner from one of your Pocket Patchwork SALs. I just barely got my version out to baste and quilt. I know--it has been far too long! : )

    1. Yep, as soon as I saw the cover, I thought "I know that one!" :) I haven't quilted mine yet, either. Like most quilters, I'm amassing a pile of tops that need to be quilted. :)

Congrats, Pam, on selling your pattern to the magazine and making the front cover. :)

  4. Congratulations on making the cover of Make it Mini. I love minis and will definitely be stopping at my local grocery store for this one. No quilt shop nearby, but our grocery store usually has most quilt magazines. I do recognize your mini, and I know I have made two of those blocks so I'm halfway there.

  7. Congratulations! Is it not similar to a little something we made as a sew along? I have mine up on my wall. Anyway, it's as cute as can be!

  12. Oh my goodness!!!! Congratulations! This is going to be such a successful publication! I love this little runner that you designed....and had every intention of making one (as your sew along).... as soon as I had looked back on your blog for the instructions... lol! Having it in the magazine is going to make it easier to finally get stitching on it! :-)

  19. Pam, this was two years ago and I've had the pic of your quilt pinned all this time -- now finally have time to think about making it. Is there a pattern available anywhere besides in the magazine?
