Nabby's Dowry Sew~along Part Three

Wasn't your first block easy, breezy?  I thought so, so let's continue with easy, shall we?  Here's block two....


This time, you'll need (12) HST's and (4) squares.  Arrange them as shown in the photo......


Sew them into rows; press in opposite directions for opposing seams.  Sew the rows together; press.  You block should measure 6 1/2" unfinished.

Another simple block....more to come, so I'll see you next Friday.  I love Fridays!

  3. I am definitely going to catch up and get these blocks done! May cut the HSTs as I make the blocks...off to look at my orphans and my stash!

  4. I love how we made all the hst first and now just assemble them (except for me whose only made half so far but you get the idea!!)

  5. I use my easy angle to cut the triangles from strips and it works great. I have finished both blocks and they are perfect 6 1/2 inch and my corners are perfect. Thanks for a great challenge and the designs.
