Another Friday and we're humming right along with our blocks. Perhaps you're thinking that you see a theme here within the blocks? Well...perhaps you are, but don't count me out just yet! I have a few surprises up my sleeve!! Here's block five.
Arrange (16) HST as shown....
Sew together into rows, alternate pressing directions for opposing seams, or press seams open. Sew rows together for a 6 1/2" unfinished block.

Yes I am enjoying this sew along... I am not actually doing the blocks due to time restrictions right now but every week I kick myself because I am not doing them. It doesn't stop me from appreciating your hard work.

ReplyDeleteI love this Block. I used it for a Block Lotto. it was called a DEPRESSION block. Your Sew-along is anything but depressing. The only pressing I need to do is all of my HST's. Thanks, I'll get started on this some day soon. I'm having fun meanwhile seeing the cute blocks you and Kathy in Canada make.

ReplyDeleteLove the blocks. Not in love with my fabric choices though. I am making them because I like the blocks and the pattern but will make it again in other fabrics. Love your prints and have so many that would work better or prettier, I think so .... definitely will make it again Thanks for sharing.
