Introducing...Antique Cotton Calicos!!

Hooray!!  The day has finally come where I can tell you about an exciting, new fabric series I've been working on for Marcus Fabrics!!  It's called Antique Cotton Calicos!  This lovely print is one of many in this first collection released under the series name, and the collection is called Old Green Calicos.

With the word ~ Green ~ in the name, it's no surprise there are lovely green prints.  But, that's not all!
We have to have some lights in there, right?
And....I couldn't resist pairing the selection of greens with some blues.
And...one of my favorite things to do is to create multi-color light prints!  Love, love!
Ugh...I forgot to use the flash on this picture so this warm, beige print looks very yellow in this picture, but it's not!  Trust me!  It's the same tones I'm known for, and it's sooo cute!

Green and blue are among my all time favorite pairings.  I love it so much, I decorated the living room in my home all in greens and blues.  (You can see my blue and green living room in the pages of the current issue of American Patchwork & Quilting magazine, Dec, 2015 issue!)

I hope you like what you see in this first collection of Antique Cotton Calicos.  I promise more collections in the series are coming soon.  Old Green Calicos will be delivered to your local quilt shop in January!  And, yes!  There will also be 10 inch precuts of the collection as well.

My sample yardage was just delivered, so we've begun to cut the pieces for two quilts showcasing these new prints.  I'll be posting pictures of our progress right here, and on Facebook and Instagram!

See you back here again on Friday for the third installment of Tucker.  Until then, feed your soul with the stitches you sew.

  7. Oh, Pam, I can't say enough good about this new line. Seriously, it is so gorgeous!! That first fabric you show has captured my imagination! There are so many here that I love. Blues and greens are so calming. They are great together and will work so well for mini quilts. You really nailed it with this collection.

  8. I love the fabric! Great. Will you bundle up the greens and blues as you did with the reds etc? I would love to get some of those bundles.

    1. Oh yes I will. I'll be offering Fat Quarter and Fat Eighth bundles of all of my collections, as well as color "bank" groupings. They have all been received very well. Feeling blessed and thank you!

  11. Will we be able to order your collection on line in case the quilt shop doesn't carry your line?

    1. Sure. I always have yardage, bundles and kit projects for all my collections. But...it's important to shop your local quilt shop so they stay in business. I'm glad you said you'd check there first!! You can also ask them if they ordered it. Sometimes, customer requests play a big part in what the shop decided to carry.

Your comment sure made me smile. Thanks for that! It's a gift.
