Introducing Star Strings in Primitive Quilts Magazine!

Cover quilt designed by Cheryl Wall

The new issue of Primitive Quilts magazine is ready and I'm so jazzed to have a quilt in the Spring 2013 issue!!

Here's my quilt called Star Strings.....

As you can see, there are "strings" in the center of each star.  This is a stash buster, and easy breezy with a paper piecing template.

Having such a wide variety of fabrics really make these stars twinkle!  (I just had to say it...forgive me...teehee!!)

Pick up a copy of the Spring issue of Primitive Quilts magazine at your local quilt shop.  They will begin arriving there next week.  Each issue is always loaded with wonderful folk art & primitive quilts.

Hope you like Star Strings!
Pick up the magazine and make one for yourself!!

Wishing you many heartfelt stitches....

Pam

  6. Congratulations Pam! I have always wanted to do some string piecing. This would be a good stash buster. Ilike the way it is quilted as well with the continuous curve and the spiral. Great job!

  10. ABsolutely gorgeous!! I love working with strings. I started on January 1st sorting my scraps and cutting them into usable pieces, so my string basket has been filling up. This will be a perfect way to use them up.
