Market Day Sew~along / Part Four

I'm so glad we meet again!  Hoping your week was good and that you're ready for Part Four!

Here come the blocks for this week....you've only done this a bazillion times.  You could do this in your sleep.

Remember, the cutting instructions for the smaller size blocks will be listed in red.

Cutting Instructions
From light print #4:
    *Cut (6) 3 7/8" ( 2 3/8") squares.

From blue print #2:
    *Cut (6) 3 7/8" ( 2 3/8") squares.

Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of all (6) light print #4  3 7/8" ( 2 3/8") squares.  Pair them with the blue print #2 squares.

Sew 1/4" on each side of the drawn line.  Cut apart on the drawn line.

Press to the dark.  Make (12) Half Square Triangle units measuring 3 1/2" (2") unfinished.

Easy, breezy!  Are you loving those little blocks yet?  I hope I've tempted you to make some!

Let's do this again next Friday, shall we???

  1. I am FINALLY going to get to part one today--and I am hoping to get all caught up!! Loving what I see on people's blogs as they show what they think we might be making. Always fun to speculate. How many weeks does this run?

  2. Today's post said we are working on light #4. Is light #3 coming later or did I miss something? It's my first SAL so just wondering. I love it so far!

  3. 'Got my squares all finished and posted to the Flickr group :)

  4. Finally caught up today. http://quiltawhile.blogspot.com/2014/05/how-many-ways-to-procrastinate.html
I really enjoy your Sew-Alongs, thanks so much!

  5. I finished these Sunday, but only just got around to blogging about them today. Guess you're not the only procrastinator, Jean Belle. ;)
