ReplyDeleteLove your "towne square block. It's difficult to chose only one prefered pattern... maybe "summer cottage".
ReplyDeleteHugs from France
I love most of your pattern, that is my style. Most Maizie Emm. Also Towne Square is nice. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on having your block published in Quiltmakers 100 Blocks magazine. I like your Town Square block and am impressed by how nicely it has a secondary pattern created by the angles. I can decide if I like that one or the one with the sashing better! I also really like your Heart of the Prairie fabric line. I think I like the Heartland Heritage Sampler pattern the best but Tussy Mussy comes in a close second. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! What a great block!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite pattern in your shop is Cotton Blossoms.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your block! My favorite pattern is Blueberry Pie.
ReplyDeleteFritzie's closet. My husband's grandfather was nicknamed Fritzie.
ReplyDeleteI like the Blueberry Pie pattern.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pattern is "Little Red Schoolhouse". When I see it, it reminds me of my mother. She once taught in a one room schoolhouse.
ReplyDeleteAwesome block a love your layout.I love sampler quilts and one of my favorite pattern is Heartland Heritage Sampler.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pattern is Maizie Em because of its scrappy design and use of pinwheels. Looking forward to the next sew-along!
ReplyDeleteI have 2 favorites, A Soldier's Wife and Lucy's Prairie Pockets....thanks so much for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on having your block published! It's hard to choose on your patterns but I guess I would say Maizie Em. Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteLovely block! I'm partial to sampler quilts, so my pick from your patterns would be the Heartland Heritage Sampler pattern. Thanks sew much for this chance to win :-D
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! your block is lovely and like the suggestions for two settings with two different looks. Difficult to choose--Maizie Em.
ReplyDeleteOH, MY GOODNESS! You are a real person! I just finished searching the Fat Quarter Shop for my favorite Coming Soon so I could register a Blog Hop Comment. I just this very minute finished typing your name for Prairies Wovens as my favorite. Then I hop HERE and it REALLY IS YOU! I guess I never thought of designers as being every folk. Kind of like seeing your teacher in the grocery store for the first time. Anyway, I like your Fab Four pattern very much although I had already admired and I think Pinterested a quilt made from the Prairie Squares pattern. Another connection I just made. You=Prairie Woven, You=cool Prairie Woven Squares pattern. I feel like the rest of the day will be filled with discovery.
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are Fab Four and Heart of the Prairie. Love seeing the different setting options for your block. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI like the square in a square units in the Root beer and Cotton Candy pattern... Fun name too!
ReplyDeleteChecked out all of your patterns on your website and all I can say is "WOW". Amazing, some I didn't recognize but really liked. I still think my favorites are Maizie Emm and Cotton Blossom. Thanks for the chance at the giveaway.

ReplyDeletemary
thank you for the chance to win... Fab Four is my fave... your block will be a great addition...
ReplyDeletelove this block - always a fan of blocks that have more than one setting option. Summer Cottage and Made in America are alreay on my "to do" list. Next in line is start collecting Prairie Women Journey patterns.
ReplyDeleteI like your block and the fact that the angles within the block create an interesting secondary pattern. That just makes this block so much fun and so neat to make. Your quilt patterns for my choice would be either Fritzie's Closet or Blueberry Pie. Both of these patterns are good stashbusting projects and look easy enought for me to make. Thank you for the chance to win and being a part of the QM 100 Blocks Volume 7 tour.
ReplyDeleteSandi Timmons
I like the Fab Four pattern, I always like to see how different blocks will look together and make up an entirely different looking quilt. I like your block and how it does the same thing depending on settings.
ReplyDeleteCongats. Nice block Thanks for the chance to win
ReplyDeleteShawn
LOVE LOVE your pattern Heart of Prairie. Love the home spun quilts, patterns. Heading over to FB to like your page. Great block! Congratulations on having it in the magazine! Thank-you.
ReplyDeleteLove your block and congrats. Thanks. I would love to have any of your patterns but I did finally picked Lucky Day.
ReplyDeleteI like the Heartland Heritage Sampler, I've always wanted to make a sampler quilt & haven't gotten around to it yet. If I win I will get it made! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on a wonderful block being accepted for a great publication. I looked at the patterns and slected Little Red Schoolhouse. I love that there are not Y-seams. I attended a one-room school for 4 years while resembled the pattern. I love the flying geese with it. I bought "modern" fabric for a house quilt and have never used it. I think it would make terrific schoollhouse, too. Give a different look to a vintage style pattern. Blue is my favorite color and naturally I love the Little Blue Schoolhouse kit. Great job!
ReplyDeleteSince I live near the prairie - I would love to do Prairie Flowers, but I also really like Blueberry Pie (my husband's favorite!) Thanks for the chance to win! Cindy W. at cwienstroer@amuniversal.com

ReplyDeleteHeartland Heritage Sampler is my favorite. I was pleasantly surprised to see Blueberry Pie...I've made at least six of them in all sorts of fabrics...including sculls and roses. Thanks for a chance to win. Sandi
ReplyDeleteI love Union Blues! I can't wait to get a copy of the magazine--so much fun!
ReplyDeleteSo many great patterns...so hard to narrow it down to one favorite. But, I'll choose the Heartland Heritage Sampler pattern. Besides making the sampler, one could make other quilts using just one of the blocks...endless possibilities! Thanks for having this giveaway.

ReplyDeleteI just fell in love with Heartland Heritage Sampler, all your patterns are lovely, but that one's definitely my favorite. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt was hard to choose one pattern because there are so many that I liked. I will pick the Soldies Wife as I do like 2 color quilts
ReplyDeleteGreat block - thanks. My favorite pattern is Little Red Schoolhouse. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteLove all your patterns, but I think I would have to pick Rootbeer and Cotton Candy. I also love pinks and browns together.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being included in Vol. 7! How exciting.
ReplyDeleteYour block is great.
Your patterns are all very nice. It was tough choosing but then I saw the one named, Tussy Mussy and had to take a closer look. I love Dresden Plates and the small picture almost looked like something similar. When I clicked to look at the larger picture I knew I needed to choose that one. It's awesome and one I had never seen before now. BUT.........as much as I love that one, I continued looking at the rest instead of stopping there. Then I saw the Wee Whimsies~Round Two and thought those would be super fun to make. I can see many of those becoming hot pads for Christmas gifts and mug rugs or little wall hangings or a lot of fun things.
So, that's the one I would choose; Wee Whimsies~Round Two.
Thank you so much for the chance to win our choice of a pattern and the magazine. How nice of you.
I like all your patterns! I do like Maizie Emm the best. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI like your Blueberry Pie pattern. I would do it in reds for cherry pie! Linda Roe
ReplyDeleteThough it's hard to choose just one, I think my favorite is 'Lucky Day'. Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI love all your patterns...but I think my favorite is Prairie Flowers. I just completed Journey 1 of your Prairie Women's Sewing Circle through a quiltshop in Dansville, NY. We'll soon be starting Journey 2. I've really enjoyed the mini- history lessons along with all the miniature projects.
ReplyDeleteI love the Little Red Schoolhouse. All of your patterns are so darned cute, it is hard to pick. Great job on your block. I love both of the settings that you show. It always helps to have a picture of what a finished quilt might look like.
ReplyDeleteMaizie Em would be my favorite quilt pattern!
ReplyDeleteI love "The Soldier's Wife"...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt is difficult to chose just one. I think summer cottage and blueberry pie are my favorites.
ReplyDeleteI think it might just be cotton blossom as my favorite, along with Summer cottage and little red schoolhouse

ReplyDeleteI love your Towne Square block!!!! Love all your patterns but my favorite is the Fab Four pattern. Thanks
ReplyDeleteThere are several patterns that I adore, but I especially love the sweet simplicity of The Soldier's Wife. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win! P.S. I made Sweetest Things last week and, though I didn't quite pick the right fabric for it (I'm still learning), I love it!
ReplyDelete- sunshdws at yahoo dot com
Love your fabric lines as well as your patterns! I think I would like to try making the Heartland Heritage Sampler Pattern. It would look beautiful on my bed!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI would have to pick Done in a Jiff but I love the block you chose for 100 Blocks and can definitely see a quilt with it in my future.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see any that I didn't like. I want to do a blue quilt so the blueberry pie pattern would be great. Thanks, Nancy P.
ReplyDeleteI think I would like to do make the Shop Girl pattern, although it was a tough choice! Congrats on your block in vol 7!
ReplyDeleteLucy's Prairie Pockets is my favorite. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your Blog and website a few weeks ago. Very nice. The Stillwater Creek pattern looks like one I would really enjoy stitching. Thanks for the opportunity and nice job on your block for Vol 7.
ReplyDeleteI love your patterns and have a couple of them already but I would love the Fab Four (and a few more) to add to what I have. I love that pattern. And thank for a great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteLove ALL your patterns, but if I had to pick one... um. Oh, it would have to be Tussy Mussy! Love the name of the pattern and the use of all the scrap fabric. It is also a smaller quilt, which is the only kind I have time to finish! LOL
ReplyDeleteLove following your blog!
Christine

ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
wigglypup2(at)yahoo(dot)com
In Journey 4, the blue schoolhouse pattern is one that has caught my eye! I really like it. I'm now enjoying your Heart of the Prairie fabrics and incorporating them into a Civil War sampler quilt that a friend and I are working on together.
ReplyDeleteI chose The Soldier's Wife just because of the name...because I am one. But as I read your description about how wives stitched while they waited for their husband's to return from war, well it kinda hit home because that is exactly what I did in 2010. I made a deployment quilt to busy myself because by February, I hadn't heard from my husband since Christmas of 2009 and it wasn't until April that I finally got an email from him. By then the quilt top was done, and now my Garden Trellis quilt is a reminder of how I grew stronger in the Lord while waiting!
ReplyDeleteI adore applique and Cotton Blossoms is tight up my needle. Great!
ReplyDeleteI'd pick Stillwater Creek. I love Ohio star blocks
ReplyDeleteI love several of your patterns but Union Blues caught my eye. I like the secondary pattern that evolved when the primary blocks were sewn together.
ReplyDeleteLove Fritzie's Closet. Thanks for the chance to win!!
ReplyDeleteIt is a hard choice to make, but I like Lucky Day and Shop Girl is a close 2nd. I like your block and your quilt layouts. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteGosh, that was hard to pick just one, but I have it narrowed down to "The Soldier's Wife". Several of my great, great, g'fathers and also various uncles and cousins were in the Civil War. I imagine that their wives stayed home and were probably very lonely during the time that they were away. Trying to hold down the homestead and care for their families by themselves in those times could not have been easy.
ReplyDeleteHi Pam, Your block is really neat!! I see lots of possibility's with that one. As for my favorite pattern, I love The Little Red School House! I want to make that to go with the house quilt I made for PWSC.
ReplyDeleteI like Cotton Blossoms as I can recreate the flowers/basket in wool, my favorite way to do applique.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved Blueberry Pie since I saw it in a magazine but since I have that pattern already, I would say that the Heritage Sampler would be nice. I would be happy to win any of your designs, they are just my style! Robin rnoel57@gmail. Com
ReplyDeleteI love your block. It so hard to choose. I think I love Heart of the Prairie best. Suffragette would be a really close second though.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite pattern is Cotton Blossoms! I am happy to have found your blog.
ReplyDeleteI think I will pick House of the Prarie..
ReplyDeleteI like several but Cotton Blossoms is my choice; Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI like the block that has been chosen for Vol 7! And all of your quilts are lovely and beautiful. If I had to choose just one, it would be In A Jiffy. I love the use of scraps, and I have always been partial to stars. Congratulations on having one of your blocks chosen and thank you for a chance to win a prize!
ReplyDeleteSo many good choices. Union Blues is very cool and it's my choice. I also like your Blueberrry Pie and Rootbeer & Cotton Candy. Great Job. ll_gee at hotmail

Sharon gritsgirlsc@sbcglobal.net
I really like the Endless Summer pattern. The coloring is soft and fits my style. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great block Pam. And your patterns are fantastic! I love them all but a few favourites would have to be...Blueberry Pie, Cotton Blossoms, Fritzies Closet, Lucy's Prairie Pockets, Maizie Emm, Union Blues....okay, I better stop there, I could go on & on! Thanks for a chance at the give-away.
ReplyDeletemgw070 at shaw dot ca
Geez, that was a very difficult assignment. I like all your patterns. I love small quilts and all of your charm patterns are fantastic,so I just can't pick a favorite of those. Of the large quilts I'm picking Blueberry Pie even though I really like them all. That name is just yummy!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd choose Endless Summer, but I must agree with many of your fans - they're all great!
ReplyDeleteI know it's not a pattern, but I think your book, Heartspun Quilts book of Quilting Hints, Tips, Secrets & How-To's Book, would be a great reference for any quilter's library. Of your patterns, I like Heart of the Prairie.
ReplyDeleteI think the Heritage Sampler is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful, but my favorite is American Gothic.
ReplyDeleteI like the Heartland Heritage Sampler quilt.
