Several members of the American Patchwork & Quilting magazine staff came to visit us the week following the July 4th holiday, and did we ever have fun! Oh...just a little stress when a national magazine comes to photograph your home!! But, they took all the worries away, and we all enjoyed every moment.

And...I'll have a BIG GIVE-AWAY next week, so watch my blog for news!! So exciting!!
Sending out the biggest THANK YOU to all the amazing and oh-so-talented women working at American Patchwork & Quilting magazine. You're a joy to work with each and every time I am lucky enough to do so!!!
Find some time for the stitching that feeds your soul!
Congratulations! They are so fortunate to have found you. I am a subscriber so look forward to seeing more in the magazine! Your quilt is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Will have to look for it. Love to see more 'traditional style' quilts rather than the modern brights. The quality you provide seems to be a bit of a rarity in many magazines these days. Just one of the reasons I appreciate your blog too:)
ReplyDeleteYou are very kind and I appreciate your comment more than you know. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate them all and gives me lots of JOY! Pam

ReplyDeleteI LOVE touring the homes of well-known quilters - can't wait to read this issue. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI was so excited when my magazine arrived and I saw the article -- it is well done and was so nice to get to know you a little better through the tour of your home and the displays of quilts and samplers. It was a great article on a very special designer -- thanks for sharing your talents with all of us. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to be featured! Prairie at Heart looks amazing - simple, yet stunning and detailed. You chose fabrics which match your design very well.
ReplyDeleteI was thrilled to see your spread in my current issue of APQ, I am working on the prairie gathering b.o.m. The quilt shop I signed up with is not so good at supplying the correct amount of fabrics, though. I had errors the first month, then the last two months. I do get the rest of fabric sent to me, and have asked that the owner re check my order before being sent. I will go elsewhere next time. I will try to find a private email for you to tell you which shop this is.
ReplyDeleteJane, I would definitely like to know what shop you are having issues with. There should be a comfortable amount of extra fabric each month and you should never have any fabric issues like this. I designed the program so there wouldn't be this type of problem. You can email me Pam@HeartspunQuilts.com
DeleteThank you! Pam
I really enjoyed the article and reminded me of how much I enjoy your designs and fabrics:) thank you!
