Quilt Archaeology ~ Welcome Spring! Revealed

 

I don't know about you, but I need a burst of spring colors to lift my wintry mood.  Welcome Spring is my new Quilt Archaeology project!

Welcome Spring is an exact replica of this little antique cutie of a quilt.  Easy, right?  Nine Patches and a checkerboard border.  Well, I made it super easy to piece, and mixed up the colors for a happy spring mix.

I made my quilt with six assorted spring colored prints and Marcus Fabrics special Aged Muslin to give the quilt its lovely aged look.

Your kit will have the exact same fabrics as my quilt!  The Welcome Spring quilt measures 17 x 23.  That's a nice size quilt for FREE!

In the past, I have done a sew-along, but I've discovered that the majority of you complete the quilt on your own, and quicker than the weeks the sew-along would be.  And, the piecing is very simple, and nothing you haven't done before, so I decided not to have a sew-along this time.  

During my last Quilt Archaeology event, there was some confusion about getting the project pattern for free.  

So, let me say again....the pattern is FREE only until February 27th!!
