Back From The Caribbean

What a fun, fun time my hubby and I had with about 100 fellow quilters, teacher and staff on our quilting cruise to the Western Caribbean.
The ship had three very roomy conference rooms so each quilter shared a table with one friend.  As a quilt cruiser, you have the choice of sewing by day and by night...as much or as little as you'd like.  It's your vacation!

Most people mixed it up with sewing time, pool time, excursions and delicious meals.  Then, back to sewing.
And, as you can see....a number of them went home with completed quilt tops!  How great is that??
Perfect weather and calm seas made the trip all the better.  Best part?  We get to do it again next year and would love it for you to come along.  Click here to read about next year's cruise.

Spring market in Portland is less than two weeks away.  I won't be traveling to market this year but my quilts will be.  Market crush is in full steam and I'm getting all the quilts ready for the Marcus Fabrics booth.  I'm delighted to report that the three new Tokens of the Past: Yuletide Greetings quilts are all done, and I'm putting finishing touches on the pattern.

Val Krueger has added her magic and has completed quilting my Primitive Threads quilt which should arrive today.  Oh...I can't wait to see it!!  I'll take pictures and post all of this very soon.  I'm working on the final proofing of this pattern as well.

Lots of good stuff all coming together just in time for market.  Enjoy your weekend, and Be Well!
